Lot #4

Ocean-inspired, custom-designed style icon — a Blue Marine electric MOKE

Description: Exclusively for the Blue Marine Yacht Club auction, the makers of one of the world’s most adored motoring and pop-culture icons proudly present a rare, limited edition of their super-stylish car — the Blue Marine MOKE.

Ride of choice in the 1960s for Brigitte Bardot, the Beatles, and the Beach Boys, the MOKE was first conceived by Sir Alec Issigonis, designer of the original Mini. Today the MOKE has gone green, with a sustainable, electric drivetrain that makes it the ideal companion for lovers of golden beaches and crystal-clear waters.

To make the Blue Marine MOKE, manufacturers MOKE International have collaborated with award-winning creative agency Steve Edge Design. Steve has conceived and directed the custom concept, which includes a special paint finish to the car in ‘Blue Marine’ Blue — a celebration of the ocean, which the charity works so hard to protect. The colourway gives the MOKE a unique maritime appearance. Combined with the sense of freedom and flair that accompanies this famous convertible, it makes the Blue Marine MOKE a true collector’s custom item.

The MOKE’s specifications in detail: customised ‘Blue Marine’ Blue body; unique toile-inspired aquamarine motif on the exterior; contrasting white grille; custom wheel cover; Bimini cover and full weatherproof canopy. Made exclusively in the UK, the Blue Marine MOKE has bespoke alloy wheels and a top speed of 80kmh. Its Lithium-ion battery is 80% charged in two hours, fully charged in four, and gives it a range of 120km.

Bid now for the ultimate beach lifestyle head-turner, re-imagined in celebration of its natural habitat — alongside the ocean.

MOKE International is a proud partner and sponsor of the Blue Marine Foundation. Money raised from this lot will go to support Blue Marine’s Mediterranean programme.

Terms and Conditions: The auction is for a Left Hand Drive (LHD) car which will qualify for registration and use in the Caribbean, EU and USA (and UK if the buyer is happy with a LHD configuration). Other countries may be subject to local regulations. All applicable taxes (including TVA, VAT or equivalent), and associated shipping, import and registration costs, will be paid by the auction buyer.

Let us know where you want your MOKE to reside and we’ll have it ready to pick up from Casa MOKE, our showroom in St Tropez once it has been optimised for your location. Simply quote your name and show proof of ID. Collection required by 30 November 2022.
