BLUE is excited to welcome two new members to our Board of Trustees.
Lucy Lake
Lucy Lake is CEO of CAMFED International, an organisation dedicated to supporting girls’ education and young women’s enterprise in Africa. She has had extraordinary success in her work, and hence has been awarded an OBE for services for young people in Africa. Lucy brings nearly three decades of experience in building not-for-profits to deliver social change. Lucy is a founding member and former Co-Chair of the United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative, and is on the High-Level Steering Committee of the Global Education Commission’s Workforce Initiative.

Celine Herweijer
Celine Herweijer is a Partner at PwC UK and PwC’s Global Innovation and Sustainability Leader. She is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and Member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Councils. Celine is Co-Chair of Board for the We Mean Business Coalition, sits on numerous international advisory boards, and has acted as adviser to the G20, World Economic Forum, UN, EU, and numerous governments and global corporations on sustainability, development, and the digital economy. She is a NASA Fellow, a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at Grantham Research Institute at London School of Economics, and has a PhD in Computer Modelling and Earth Sciences, Columbia University, New York.
