WILDLABS, alongside a coalition of leading partner organisations, is introducing the first International Conservation Technology Conference (ICTC). Conservation technology has advanced rapidly over the past decade, unlocking new ways to protect and understand our changing ecosystems. Alongside these advancements has come a growing need for a dedicated space for the sector to come together and chart the way forward.

ICTC will consist of three core days of workshops and interactive sessions to facilitate knowledge exchange. The event is open to conservation practitioners, technologists, researchers, funders, corporate leaders and policymakers.

Blue Marine Foundation will host a workshop at the event on 17 February: ‘The MPA Technology Workshop: Channelling conservation technology into marine protected area design and management‘.

This one-day workshop will convene MPA professionals and conservation technology experts through panels and presentations, to explore and showcase how we can embed conservation technology into MPA design and management.
