The Convex Seascape Survey education programme connects the project’s research to a wealth of innovative Live Lessons, lesson plans and teaching resources to help students discover how the ocean can help solve the climate crisis. It starts at Key Stage 1 with fun activities to ignite an understanding of how climate changes over time, and how humans influence these changes. The programme then builds in complexity to KS3 level, where students learn about how human activities influence the carbon cycle, carbon stores and climate fluctuations. Critically, the education programme examines both the ways that the ocean is affected by climate change, and the ways it can be part of the solution.
