Blue Ocean Learning Toolkits (BOLTS)

The Blue Education unit creates hands-on programmes at our project sites that maximise local community education and increase the long-term impact of Blue Marine’s conservation efforts. Inspired by the international drive to promote ocean literacy, Blue Education supports the creation of Blue Ocean Learning Toolkits (BOLTs) that are tailored to each specific project location.

By supporting contextualised marine education to be delivered in conjunction with Blue Marine’s conservation projects, we aim to strengthen MPA management in the long term and to exemplify coastal livelihood opportunities for communities.
