On 6 May 2025, 4,400 people gathered for the world premiere of OCEAN WITH DAVID ATTENBOROUGH and its Future Generations’ screening.
Attended by King Charles, the Prince of Wales, David Attenborough and celebrities including Cara Delevingne and Theo James, the two events brought together influential decision-makers, philanthropists and NGO leaders. Their presence amplified the film’s powerful message: it is time to galvanise action for ocean protection and call for banning bottom trawling in the UK’s marine protected areas.
The Future Generations’ screening was an opportunity for Blue Marine Foundation to highlight the damage to our ocean and the importance of protecting it.
