This event focused on the progress made by countries who had signed and ratified the BBNJ Agreement. Speakers from IUCN, High Seas Alliance, the Government of Korea, the European Commissioner for Fisheries and Solomon Pili Kaho’ohalahala shone a spotlight on the importance of protecting the High Seas.
