London to Monaco 2022

After two years postponement, Blue Marine launched the fifth London to Monaco cycle ride in September 2022. Over 80 riders joined the 8-day ride, raising an amazing £320,000 for ocean conservation, smashing the target of £250,000.

Setting off from the Olympic Park in Stratford, riders made their way to Essex, to catch the ferry over the Hook of Holland. Making its debut through Holland, the ride continued through Belgium, revisiting the cobbles, then into France before reaching its final destination in Monaco at the royal palace. After a challenging 1000km ride, everyone was received with a royal welcome by H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco before letting their hair down at the famous London to Monaco sponsored After Party, by Icon Connect.

Our sponsors this year were Lürssen and Y.CO and we were joined by new Corporate Teams, DreAMBoat and Lürssen.

This year’s funds supported six of Blue Marine’s projects: Maldives, Namibia, Mozambique, Solent, Lyme Bay and Jersey.

The Blue Marine team took to the pedals again in 2022 including: Adrian Gahan, Andrew Woods, Luke Helmer, Lynne Smith, Freddie Watson and SJ Skinner

What an incredible experience. Thank you to Blue Marine and Just Pedal for putting together a truly world class event. From the logistics to the catering and of course the amazing routes. Absolutely faultless. Hands down some of the best roads we have ever ridden. And to be riding for such a good cause put the cherry on top. The pain was worth every minute of this event. Well done and thank you again. See you next year!
