Strong Overseas, Weak at Home. Parliamentary Briefing, November 2021

In advance of COP26, BLUE today launches our parliamentary briefing for all UK MPs. International leadership on climate and nature requires leading by example at home, yet the UK’s domestic marine management continues to be lamentable as bottom trawling persists in 97 per cent of UK Marine Protected Areas and the government continues to set fishing quotas beyond sustainable limits.
