Blue Marine’s shocking short film The Bottom Line won two Gold Awards at the Lovie Awards 2025, announced on the 6 November. The film was recognised for its excellence within the ‘Film & Video’ category, winning awards in both ‘News & Politics‘ and ‘Public Service & Activism‘. These prizes acknowledge activism and tackling of political headlines and concerns, and celebrate the impact of the campaign to ban bottom trawling in England’s marine protected areas.
