A new Cornwall-wide poll commissioned by ocean conservation charity, Blue Marine Foundation, overwhelming public demand for stronger protections of local seas, with more than 84 per cent of residents calling a ban on bottom trawling in marine protected areas (MPAs) and 87 per cent warning that seabed habitats and fish stocks are at risk without action.
